On August 20, 2024, the King Jesus Ministry provided support to elderly individuals in need by distributing food and money totaling 25 million Ugandan shillings, which is equivalent to 12 million Rwandan francs.
This initiative was carried out to fulfill the teachings gospel of God, which call on those with the means to assist the less fortunate rather than withholding their resources. Pastor Eric and some of the recipients of this aid shared these sentiments.
Pastor Eric stated, “God did not send us to take away peole’s wealth, but he sent us to help them at all times. He gave us His time, His word, and the resources to assist those in need. It is important to help those who face difficulties in life, as doing so brings blessings, as described in the word of God.”
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and joy, praising God for Pastor Eric’s assistance. One recipient said, “My heart is filled with happiness because I received food and money. God brought Eric to us.”
Pastor Eric, the Director of King Jesus Ministry, informed Umunsi.com that the assistance was targeted at elderly individuals in Isingiro District, Mbarara, Uganda, who were no longer able to work. He explained, “We provided food and money to help them purchase additional necessities that we were unable to provide directly.”
Although the total expenditure of 12 million Rwandan francs represents the equivalent of 25 million Ugandan shillings, Eric emphasized that their mission is to spread the glory of God and support His people in alignment with their goals.
